Samsung has officially begun rolling out the One UI 8.0 update to its most affordable Galaxy smartphones. After releasing the update for the Galaxy F15 earlier this week, the company has now extended it to the Galaxy A07 as well. This marks the first major software update for the Galaxy A07 since its launch.
The Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update is currently available for the Galaxy A07 in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. The new firmware carries the version number A075FXXU1BYJA and comes with a download size of approximately 2.3GB. Included in this update is the October 2025 security patch, enhancing the device’s overall security.
If you own a Galaxy A07 and reside in any of the countries mentioned above, it’s a good idea to check for the One UI 8.0 update on your phone. To do this, open the Settings app, navigate to **Software update > Download and install**, and tap **Install now** once the update has been downloaded.
This update introduces several improvements across the system, including enhancements to stock apps, the lock screen, and the underlying platform. Notable changes include:
– **Quick Share** now features a new full-screen design with two separate tabs for **Send** and **Receive**.
– The **Weather app** has been refreshed with new visuals, including a character that reacts to weather conditions.
– The **Camera app** gains a new on-screen swipe gesture to easily show or hide quick camera controls.
