HBO Max has announced that Episode 2 of *It: Welcome to Derry* will be released earlier than scheduled to celebrate Halloween. The episode will debut on Friday, October 31, at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET on HBO Max. It will later air on HBO on Sunday, November 2, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
This advance release is a one-time event tied to the holiday, while subsequent episodes of the eight-episode season will continue premiering on Sundays, leading up to the finale on December 14.

The premiere episode introduced viewers to Derry in 1962, a time of paranoia and prejudice, ending with the deaths of Teddy, Phil, and Susie at the hands of the creature.
