Knesset Approves NIS 30 Billion Increase in Defense Budget for War-Related Expenses
The Knesset has approved a significant increase of NIS 30 billion in the defense budget to cover war-related expenses. The bill passed its third reading with 55 members voting in favor and 50 against, following a full day of speeches from both coalition and opposition members.
The decision was made during the Knesset plenary session held on September 29, 2025.
